5 important things when designing for Instagram
We know that brands with more visual content use Instagram more frequently. Instagram is required to build or expand the audience. There is no need to talk about it.
There are some tips to watch out for a professional look on Instagram. Let’s get along from the beginning: These tips will not be simple tips like ‘use quality images’, ‘find your target audience’. It will be a little more professional and I will explain this through an example I did.

1- Choosing a program
First of all, let’s determine how we will prepare the posts. It’s important to look like a professional. It’s great if you know Adobe programs and design programs like Sketch, Figma etc.
But if you do not know, you may think that the process is difficult. Actually, it’s not like that at all. There are many programs out there that make custom posts and look absolutely professional. My favorite in this regard is Canva. It’s so simple, I’m sure you’ll learn to use Canva as quickly and easily as posting on Instagram. 2- Decide what to do
Do you have a website? Or are you starting from Instagram? What do you want to share? We will find some answers with some critical questions like these. My example will be the Instagram posts of a news website.
If you have a website (or other social channels);
Your job is easy. Because you have created your corporate identity in other social media channels. Font, color selection, and customers are determined. If these are determined, the design research is halfway through. Let’s say you don’t like your posts on other social media and you want to change it. Or you just design for Instagram. So, let’s take a look at this;
If there are no other channels;
Now we will quickly create a corporate identity. My posts will be news; that’s why I don’t prefer it to be a fun design. I want to present the news clearly and focus sentences.
