Egh, the tram story is, in my opinion, completely silly and doesn’t prove that the phone company fucked up at all. Even the most seamless phone setup and activation would be hard-pressed to pass that test, because it’s not a typical usage scenario…

We designers, have the chance to make an impact if we take responsibility for what we put out in the world.

I think this is a concept that most design schools and workplaces don’t stress enough but is also the most important one designers need to hear all the time.

we will have to deal with a choice overload which is a cognitive process where people have a difficult time making a decision when faced with many options

This is also seen in hamburger chains where people sometimes have a hard time choosing between four combos.
