What is interaction design?
According to the Association for Interaction Design (IxDA):
“Interaction design defines the structure and behavior of interactive systems.
Interaction designers strive to create meaningful relationships between people and the products and services that they use, from computers to mobile devices to applications and beyond.”
What does the interaction designer do?
Interaction designers are responsible for the function of the user interface. In other words, they play an important role in creating a user-friendly experience.
Their work and role may vary depending on the company, project, or team size. In general, interaction designers lead the overall product development process and create design strategies, identifying fundamental wireframe interactions and prototype interactions.
