AI Isn’t Stealing Your Job — But These 5 Tools Might Steal Your Heart
How AI Can Enhance — Not Replace — Graphic Designers: 5 Powerful Tools to Boost Creativity and Efficiency

Will AI replace graphic designers? Are we all going to lose our jobs?
These are questions I hear quite often, and I understand why so many of you are concerned about the rapid rise of artificial intelligence. But let me put your mind at ease — AI isn’t here to replace designers; it’s here to enhance what we do.
The truth is, AI will only replace designers who don’t integrate it into their workflow. And for that exact reason, I’ve written this article to share five AI tools that every graphic designer should start using.
Tool №1
As graphic designers, one of the first things we do when creating mood boards is establish a color palette.
Choosing the right colors can be challenging because most of our clients have strong opinions without any factual knowledge about color theory. I once spent more than a month revising a color palette for a client until we finally got it right. At times, the colors themselves are beautiful but their tone or saturation level can be incompatible.
To simplify things, you can simply use Colormind.io, an artificial intelligence color scheme generator that uses deep learning to come up with amazing palettes. Pressing the Generate button gives you a fresh palette every time, unless you lock one of the colors.
If you’re in advance and know a color beforehand, simply click and lock it.
For example, if you have two colors that complement each other and you really like them, place them on opposite ends of the palette, pin them, and then do the rest. It helps in producing balanced middle-colors.
My most favorite feature is its color palette extractor, which can produce color schemes from any image. It does an excellent job, and that is why it is a tool that you need to have in any designing project.
Tool №2
We all are aware of how important typography is in designing.
