You've forgotten Pressed, Completed, Disabled Completed, Error Enabled, Error Completed and Keyboard Focussed.

It’s better to avoid line-only design (popularized by Material Design) because it negatively impacts discoverability.

It would be nice to see data about that. An usability report perhaps? MD DS has that kind of input field design but the actual design is far from what the author suggest. The input field in MD DS has a different background color to the page…
