What is new about Dribbble interface
From designer showcase to hiring hub

I can not say that Dribbble is a platform where I spend most of my time.
I uploaded my design work a couple of months ago, got 10 views in 3 days, and successfully forgot about that.
How surprised I was when I checked my profile and saw almost 3k views for a single shot, still having 0 followers. Conclusion — the algorithms are working quite well there.
Dribbble always had this double-faced reputation of the platform where people post designs that are beautifully looking but too unrealistic to develop.
But it’s also a place where most of the trends started. Neumorphism, glassmorphism, aurora — all these were first seen on Dribbble.
However, there has been a bad tendency on Dribbble in the last couple of years — more and more designers quit this platform, not being motivated by the complexity of monetization and a large amount of similar-looking designs.
So the company is changing the game
Let’s see what is new
The logo
We decided it was time to refresh the design of our logo to better represent Dribbble’s energetic, diverse community and our resolve to continue our growth story as we build the world’s destination to hire top design talent.
Zack Onisko, CEO Dribbble
The new version of the logo makes me think about the old films of the 1950s and retro posters, the typography is clearly inspired by mid-century lettering and logos on kitchen appliances.

However, I must admit that the new logo aligns much better with the Dribblbl’s ambition to become the first place to hire creatives, while the old version had a rather “amateur” style.
